Adam is the kind of boss that doesn't seem like a boss. He is always joking around and making people laugh. But he cares a lot about the company and the work that everyone does. I have never had a boss that put so much time into his work the way Adam does.

I am glad of the fortuitous circumstances of moving in with you, Russ, and Devin in my return to normal life and realizing there were people I really enjoyed being around in happy valley. I appreciate your friendship so much and all I have learned from you. I have always appreciated your genuineness, but most of all your dancing. I only wish our families could spend some more time together.
Anyways - 33 is a big year - I expect a lot from you as always.

Happy birthday Adam! From what I have seen on Instagram it looks like you have had a weekend full of celebrating...something you totally deserve. We certainly feel grateful and privileged to know you. From the Blue House days you were always a good friend to me - jogging buddy, helping me fix my car, and keeping me company while I was unemployed. :) Now you continue to be so impressive. Jamberry is definitely one of my favorite companies for so many reasons and it says so much that you are running it! Plus, you married one of my most favorite people so that definitely makes you amazing! You are such a loving dad and husband. Keep up the amazing work and know that you have many fans, especially the Lansings in Virginia. Come visit any time! We loved having you here last October!!
What can I say about Adam that nobody knows already, not much. We all know that you can't be serious without smiling or laughing. We all know you haven't slept a full 8 hours in months. We all know that you are a very sensitive person and your not afraid to cry. Many of us know that you truly care about your employees.(especially the mom's of the office)All of us can tell that you love your wife and kids. Happy Birthday Adam! I can clearly remember us all being around the dinner table to celebrate Grandma's birthday when the call came from the hospital announcing your arrival and that from then on Grandma would share her birthday with you :). All talk at the table then shifted to you. As an 8 year old girl I could not wait for Shauna to come home so I could see you. Thanks for being a great nephew! I hope you have a wonderful birthday.

Ad, The Man Who Does it All
Adam Grant Hepworth. It's your big day! SO many reasons we are glad you were born. Here are just a few:
- You'll stay up talking about absolutely nothing, suffering through a migraine, just because you know we like you and want to hang out.
- You're nerve wracking every time you're behind a boat risking life and limb, but man it's a show.
- Something about talking to you the day you were proposing to Christy was so endearing - you were so sure and confident, but just the right amount nervous, you'd plotted a great surprise, and had packed your nicest suit to New York. A girl wants her best friend taken care of forever and you are the guy for the job.
- You seem to share the love we hold for Daylight Donuts, and you indulge us every time we visit.
- You're such a great dad. Those boys adore you, and are already showing off some of their dad-taught tricks (skiing already?!).
- You can just do and figure out ANYTHING. Seriously. It's incredible the way you just tinker with, research, create, pioneer... you just get things done.
- Look what you've done with Jamberry Nails! A-mazing. Mind-blowing. And who would have thought that you'd be using phrases like 'Amazon Snakeskin', 'Citrus Ombre', and 'Amethyst Sparkle' on a regular basis?
- You landed the best wife in the world, which means you must be one of the best guys in the world.
- So well-rounded - who else has a degree in Portuguese, the science background for dental school, started successful ski company and a beauty product company, can ski/wakeboard/long board/anything board, renovates houses, etc. etc.?
- You're half of one of the few couples we would purposefully move next door to. Or travel with. Or choose to be stranded on a deserted island with. This is not said lightly.

I think one of the first times I had ever met you I found out you had made the wireless router you guys were using at the house you lived in with Dan. It was a tin can with some sort of wires attached. From this day on I have continued to be impressed by your skillz! Adam, happy happy birthday! What do you say to a man that's really good at everything he does? I guess just that...you're my favorite person for a million reasons, but mostly because you always try your best and make me and others around you want to do the same. The boys adore you, I think your employees appreciate you, you treat your wife like she's the best thing that ever happened to you, you always seem to know or figure out how to fix any and every problem, your strong and smart and loving and creative, and sensitive, and FUNNY and when you want something you go after it.
